Design Sense Interior Architecture was founded by Geraldine O' Brien in 2007. Interior Architect & Spatial Planner Geraldine qualified as an Architectural Technologist in 1993 with a BSc in Architectural Technology from Heriot Watt University Edinburugh and worked in Architecture with Michael Williams Associates from 1995 until she ventured to Australia in 1998. While in Australia Geraldine graduated with a Masters in Design from the University of Technology Sydney in 2003. Geraldine has over 17yrs experience designing & managing hositality, commercial & residential interior projects in Ireland & Australia.

Relocating to Sydney allowed her to move into the realm of commercial interiors working for two well known interior design practices over a period of 6 years, firstly with Geyer known for their award winning corporate interiors, followed by RCG an Architectural & Interiors practice specialising in large corporate roll out projects. On returning to Ireland in 2004 Geraldine took up a post with Fleming Construction as Project Design Co-ordinator, leaving in 2007 to set up Design Sense Interior Architecture a practice providing a technical interior design service with a difference which entails developing a unique interior design concept for her clients, followed by a full set of technical drawings and schedules allowing accurate tendering prior to the build and cost control during the build and finally an on site co-ordination service to help clients implement the design right through to completion.
